I really need a reasonable way to burn a cigar year round. Can't really enjoy it when it's too cold... and I don't expect any super affordable ventilation solutions.

Don’t you guys have cigar lounges in Indy? In the winter I go out to the garage with the torpedo heater facing me.

Enjoyed a Padron 7000 maduro along with a bourbon while sitting in a sunny spot by a good dog and listening to the Bears game on the radio.

Best thing I ever did was install a unit heater in my garage and blow 15 inches of cellulose in the attic. I keep the thermostat set at 45, but if I want to smoke a cigar, work on something, or just escape the house, I can make it 70 degrees out there in under 15 minutes.:yesway:

A few years ago I spent some time in Cabarete, Dominican Republic. Tested most of the cigars at a local cigar shop and ended up really enjoying La Flora Dominicana cigars. Specifically the Mysterio Oscuro. One Mysterio Oscuro, a glass of dark rum and you have 2 hours to relax.

The Ligero Oscuro is the closest that they still produce.

    La Flor Dominicana

In my opinion d.r. cigars > Cuban.

Now I'm not saying Cubans are bad, just Dominicans are better.

Yeah, ,the DR cigars are good but they are no Nicaraguans :):

I may or may not have enjoyed a few Cubans. If I had, I would probably think they were good but not any better than some others.

A Ben Wade...Early 70's freehand...I bought it and the very large Charatan at a CW reenactment for $1 a piece...The freehand was missing the stem and the grain flares so as to go with the shape of the pipe....I sent them to a guy in Nashville and he refurbished them for me so I got a total of $20 in them....

    It looks like this....
