I'll admit, I'm intrigued... At that price I may have to take a look at one this summer after it's been out for a bit and people have had time to find any kinks in it. I'm not one to jump on a new product without letting other people buy and review it first.

Same dimensions as the Sheild in a aluminum frame with a 1911 like trigger. As long at the reliability is there...this thing will sell.

    Hmm.

Oh wait, I already said that in another thread.

Well, I wish they hadn't mounted the sight backwards for "style". I get that they are marketing that as "snag free" but seriously; give up an inch of sight radius on that small of a pistol just for (somewhat questionable) looks?

The price is right. Guess we'll see how it goes.

time will tell, I suppose. I'll admit to being intrigued by the action and bore axis. Looks like recoil is VERY manageable during quick firing. All metal?

The frame looks like polymer. With the weight within one ounce of the Shield, I would be surprised if the frame was metal.

I'm not sure why I'd want to buy a 6 (or 7) + 1 pistol when my G27 holds 10 + 1 and is adequately concealable. I can somewhat see the point of a tiny .32 or .380 pocket pistol with a tiny magazine, but I've never been a fan of single-stack mags in anything bigger.

    Right here.
At first glance the Whitney Wolverine came to mind. Actually I like the looks of it. I like the idea of a grip safety only as it makes it quick to deploy and fire somewhat like a Glock.

I'll definitely fondle one as soon as they get into the stores.

Did they put the rear sights on backwards? :):

    That's what I was thinking!

    This photo shows it better.
