Nothing but praises of Suity Mc Suitface and the NRA will appease you.

So I'm not going to engage.
Actually a mostly non member group is following the lefts lead to destroy the NRA. I am clearly on the record here promoting tactics to those here that can vote to get good board members on the board and replace WLP. I bet 90% of those complaining cannot even vote. Can you vote in NRA elections?

I cannot believe how many believe the allegations hook line and sinker. Does INGO not believe in innocence until proven guilty at the minimum? A case prosecuted by an AG that ran for office on getting the NRA, in a dark blue state where impartial juries for political based trials is impossible.

Seems a majority here, by the posts and boasting of withholding funding, believe the allegations without reservations. It worked, the NRA is severely weakened mostly by their own members or former members. What a coup for the left to get members to kill the most hated organization on the left…
Is this the CEO that we really want to run the NRA? Do you want him to take over your finances or checkbook?
I wouldn't let Wayne take control of the shoebox full of penny's in the closet.
I would be afraid he would vote in, that he gets 50% of when he cashs them in.

The drop in membership has driven a stark decline in the NRA’s revenue over the same period. The presentation shows revenues were down nearly $24 million, or 11 percent, between 2021 and 2022, while expenses grew by more than $11.5 million, or 5.5 percent. A $37.4 million, or 32 percent, shortfall in membership dues was behind the revenue collapse. At the same time, a $16.4 million, or 47.4 percent, overrun in legal expenses led the group to finish in the red for the year.

And have been for several years, before the whole meltdown…

I didn't like him the first time I met him, if I recall it was at an Issac Walton or a Ducks Unlimited NRA dinner. He was a poumpas *******.
He was some kind of nra rep back then.
    Middle 80s?

One of my posts from a few years ago concerning voting tactics to get Adam Kraut on the board. He is now the executive director of SAF. Really like the guy. I would vote for a slate to make him NRA president and CEO.

I hadn’t caught that Kraut went there. Good for him. I took part of that voting tactic trying to get him on the NRA board. I don’t think I have voted since that failure. I accepted that there was no changing things at that point.

When people enter into leadership positions in public service/political office/non-profit organizations, it should be because they want to give back - not because they view it as a means of amassing a fortune. But, I suppose I am naïve. The way things have been operating over the last few decades that is *exactly* how you amass a fortune. Not an Elon Musk fortune, but a Clinton/Obama fortune. :pimp:
So they should take a vow of poverty?

If I ever meet a GOA rep at the Statehouse I'll introduce myself.
    :nopity:
I have been saying this for years. It's easy never to compromise when you never do anything.

    On the Wayne topic-
I recalled some contentious NRA meetings where Josh Prince and others would get up and challenge Wayne at the Mic, and then Wayne's serious defenders would stand up and accuse anyone who challenged Wayne of being a sucker for left-wing media. People would bicker in the seats, and I never got it. NRA board members would defend him in private chats, but some acknowledged change was needed. I lost hope for the NRA when Pete Brownell stepped out. When he couldn't move them, it was a problem.
I'm sure the next guy will be accused of being all sorts of bad, but I'm curious to see how it goes. This role may as well be a figurehead and media specialist. They have some talent in the ranks for state legislature work.

A question for NRA voting members only. Now that WLP is out, how do we rebuild the NRA to its former self?
I would most likely start with, termination of any of the Board that voted the relect Wayne two years ago. And those that didnt vote for Wayne I would look at all the votes they had done and how they voted and maybe a few if not the rest would get removed as well.
I would be very open with all the membership on what we were doing.
They will already know why we were doing it.
