How ignorant can people get? This is probably the dumbest post I have ever read on INDGO. This Utah scum did in fact start the fight and he sure didn't end it. And he is gonna die for it to. Heck I will gladly pay my way to Utah and volunteer to be on his firing squad. I would enjoy putting one in his black worthless heart.:yesway:

Some of you need to stop smoking the weed or whatever it is you do and wake up to reality. This ain't no fantasy world.
This guy is a troll right? to those of you who converse with him more regularly, please tell me that he is a troll.

i refuse to believe someone that made all these posts is truthful of his opinions, let alone an officer.

lakes of the four seasons golf cart cop maybe?

Well, the man whose home the cops invaded is finally well enough to speak. He was asleep when they busted in and he was in fear of losing his life. Sounds like one of the cases we've heard before. Now, of course, the Utah cops are going to try and pin a murder wrap on him. The infallible ones will likely get their way and that's a sad commentary on the state of things today.

No win for civilians. If someone breaks down your door in the middle of the night, you will probably die. If it is the cops, they will kill you. If it isn't, they will probably torture you and then kill you. Very nice and tidy. No knock warrants are a license to kill here in the land of the free and the home of Officer safety.

Can't really tell much as far as who was shooting when. Obviously when the video comes on officers had already been shot. There was continued shooting several minutes later, if that was the homeowner shooting I'd think he might have a difficult time convincing a jury he didn't know it was the police at that point.

But could he hear the police over the gunshots? I didn't see any of the video as my Windows will not upgrade the Flash player. It says the he was waiting in a concealed position for the police so he knew they were going to raid him that night? Alot of confusion is what the police do these types of raids for. Create confusion and it makes their jobs easier and "safer" for the officers. So you go in causing chaos and get it, then it is a problem when the suspect does the unexpected like he did here. Did the ballistics come back yet on who shot who?

Does this mean that we have a government-manufactured criminal (i.e., not guilty of doing anything other than reacting predictably to extreme circumstances)?
most of the stories ive seen on the news involving stuff like this the first thing they do is show all the weapons and drugs to the news crews. but this one they are showing nothing and saying just take our word for it.

That's what I thought. We have a man charged with murder 1 with no indication that he had done anything wrong until he shot a home invader and--OH S**T, it was the police who are supposed to arrest home invaders, not be home invaders. Instant criminal made out of a innocent man!

Even if drugs were legalized, some people would still be willing to commit murder for it.
    What a senseless act.

Very true. My problem is that not only does it inspire actual crime, but we have innocent people drawn in, which could just as easily happen to me. If persons unknown come breaking in on me in the middle of the night, you can rest assured that I will fire first and investigate details later. Thank God and thank the legislature that I need not fear charges for doing so (unlike residents of other states, like Utah for example).

Unless, of course, they have a valid warrant in which case you will get the privilege of a judge and your attorney telling you that you have misunderstood SB1.

I really don't give a damn. If unknown intruders come breaking in they WILL be shot.

    Good for you

I understand that you take the perspective that the police are always right. Please explain how you justify your position? If you had persons unknown breaking into your home in the middle of the night are you going to politely ask them why they are doing so? Just assume they must be the police since the police are so impossibly good at their jobs that there are no criminals any more? Assume that the criminals and the police are not one in the same? Expect that all citizens have super powers that allow them to identify people in the dark while trying to wake up sufficiently to fight?

The one thing I do know is that once such an event starts, there is not likely going to be a way to truly win in the sense of restoring life as normal any time soon, regardless of the nature of the invasion or who is doing the invading.

As for the argument of justifying no-knock warrants with 'officer safety' never mind the less than stellar results particularly regarding raiding the wrong place, my advice is that if you feel the need to be a JBT because you do not like danger, DON'T BE A ********* COP.
