I still wanted to shoot it. It's kinda cool but I guess next year, if he has it back by then, is when it will happen.
They're a novelty IMO and actually a hood idea for a revolver but they obviously need to do some design work on them.
Reducing the price of them couldn't hurt either....

BTW, that bottom one is DLeak shooting my milled Bulgy SA-M7. I have had that rifle forever and it is one of my favorites to shoot.

Yeah, we missed you too. Next year avoid the children so you don't catch anything. Kids are germ magnets. they eat dirt and never sip up their coats when they are outside playing and they won't eat food that's good for them. However they are young so they heal fast so they don't have it as bad when they do get sick. That is YOUR job Grandpa, to be miserable when you catch something off of them.

Thank you! Today was my first time using that particular camera for video. None of my previous DLSR's had video capabilities. Someday I will have to set aside some time to dedicate to learning how to edit video.

Hello All, You had 20 on the sign up sheet with the last one arriving after you had all left. You were a GREAT group to have on the property. You did an EXCELLENT Job of clean up. You are definitely welcome back next year. We'll work to fit you into September.

I want to give a special "Thank You" to Warthog & DLeak for helping with the set.

Several of you got prior permission to shoot on the long lane, but I don't believe any of you rotated to that valley. You seemed to be having so much fun together none of you wanted to separate. That is a great indicator of the quality and fellowship shooters share. Remember that your written LL Authorization is permanent. You are allowed to use the Long Lane (which every valley it is in) as long as your ProTEQ Patron Status is current.

I enjoyed seeing your toys. It brought back lots of memories. I also enjoyed shooting a bit with you. Thanks to who ever invested the gun & ammo into my play time. IF you have any complaints or suggestions concerning how the day progressed don't hesitate to contact me (ddb40@hughes.net).

Hopefully next year you can enjoy some additional improvements to the South Valley that may include a longer range. I will have additional tables on the line next year and we'll set up a designated prone area at the far left so brass on your back is less of an issue.

In the near future please discuss your purposed September 2015 INGO Date and have Warthog get with me near years end or early January. We'll lock in your date on the schedule.

Remember that ProTEQ is here every day of the year and at least one range is almost always open. A large number of our ProTEQ Patrons drive 50 to 100 miles to shoot here, some do so almost every week. They use our facilities because of the great opportunities we provide at an extremely affordable price. If you are not currently a ProTEQ Patron you should consider becoming one. The new 2015 Range releases will be out by December 1st. Sign up early and enjoy the whole year of 2015.

They are really nice pix and videos. Mine would have sucked in comparison. I am really glad you were willing to take so many shot and post them too. How do you always catch the case ejecting like that? If you have a good one of me I may make it my avatar.

Don said 107 people signed the sheet this year which is a lot more than last year. That doesn't mean we lacked for fun last year either. Don is likely to get us a date in Sept. I will get with him soon and make sure we get a good date too.
This and last year was/were a blast and next year should prove to be great as well.

How do you always catch the case ejecting like that?

I shoot with a high shutter speed (typically in AV or M mode) and in burst, which increases the probability of catching brass in the air.
