    Trigger slap with 1600fps 1oz slugs

    Will the Tapco G2 trigger for the Vepr 12 from CSS eliminate trigger slap? I have a case of 1600fps slugs that are too painful to enjoyable shoot through the V12. My Saiga 12 with the G2 does not have slap with these rounds, so I'm thinking it would solve the issue with the Vepr as well... any first hand experiences?

    Not sure. You can probably file down the original by following a template for de-slapping any Ak. BTW centerfire systems has veprs on sale for drastically low prices.

    Fired up my VEPR on my father-in-law's farm, smiles all around. Also brought my Stevens 320 I bought off richardraw316 (hadn't shot it yet).

    The VEPR cycled both low- and high-brass just fine, and we were both surprised how noticeable the recoil difference between the gas-op and pump-op guns were. Even with the metal folding stock, the VEPR was far from unpleasant. Now to turn a comp-brake and pin+weld at 18.25"...​

    I haven't fired mine yet. Just picked it up at USDS on Saturday. It's a side folder. They still have one left and it come with a free 10 or 12 round mag. I can't remember which it is. Pictured in my gun
