Venezuela seizes Kellogg cereal factory after closure - BBC News

    This should totally work.

"We've begun judicial proceedings against the business leaders of Kellogg's because their exit is unconstitutional," Mr Maduro told cheering supporters in the central state of Carabobo.
"I've taken the decision to deliver the company to the workers in order that they can continue producing for the people."

    .
Need grain to make corn flakes. Wonder if there will be anything left of the factory when the cereal city people return and have to start back up.

They'll still be arguing about it 50+ years later.

Some 5,913 U.S. corporations and individuals have been awarded $1.9 billion worth of claims for factories, farms, homes and other assets that were nationalized in Cuba after Fidel Castro’s rebels came to power on Jan. 1, 1959.
Those claims, registered with the U.S. Justice Department’s Foreign Claims Settlement Commission, are now worth roughly $8 billion when including 6.0 percent annual interest.

Inflation in Venezuela this year is running at 100,000%...we're talking burn the money for heat levels of inflation. Maduro's answer? Double the wages...a true Kensyian/Marxist level understanding of economics.

They should print some more money and bring in former Zimbabwe President Mugabe as the economics czar.

I see that they have voted for more crazy down there...apparently, life is not bad enough yet. 6 more years of Maduro should do them just fine.

I see where 14 countries have pulled their ambassadors from Venezuela to protest the corruption in the elections and are refusing to recognize Maduro as president. Venezuela has ejected our Charge d'affaires as persona non-grata over protests and given him 48 hours to leave.
