Amazing amount of courage shown here. Says he rugby tackled a guy... now I have reason to like a sport.

Do they have actual clubs or the telescoping batons that are in favor over here? I have heard that the latter are not always very effective.
They carry telescopic batons. The only police force in the UK armed with firearms as a matter of course is the PSNI

So Brits are allowed to defend themselves with chairs. So can they start open carrying a chair with them? If the terrorists use one, will they outlaw them?

From what I have seen they carry telescopic ones.
They are usually not effective because they are trained to hit "non vital areas" such as large muscle groups.
A hit to the head or the collar bone can be very effective and it could easily be used as a deadly weapon.

It all depends who's using the baton too, a small female officer will not produce as much force as a larger/heavier male officer.

During the fight with the Turkish president's bodyguard you can see a DC police officer deploying his baton and hitting a guy 3 or 4 times in the back.
The guy was a security officer, probably quite muscular is seen just turning around and walking away.

Give them two batons and train them in Escrima and they could be deadly indeed

So is removing all of Islam from the British Isles a reasonable option? I would guess that past Monarchs would consider it. Look at Japan. They are very restrictive of Muslims and have not had to deal with this.

The very fact that one is a Muslim means (as I understand it) that all non-believers are the enemy and are to be subjugated and liquidated. No easy answers for us, but I agree with Trump that we should stop letting them in, and not just for 90 days. How about forever? The ones that are here either behave or face the consequences. Example, if one immigrant or son of immigrants does this, the whole tribe is exiled.

    WOW...just wow.

With all these brave warriors of Islam why are the attacks always done by one or two jihadist at a time?

Imagine the carnage had there been a half dozen vans doing the same thing all at once and many more knife wielding jihadist jumping out to confront unarmed citizens and police.

No need for a mass, mutiple threat like that yet.
These 1 and 2s are good enough for now.
    Death by a thousand cuts.
Plus the terror cells i suspect work independently so a coordinated attack like what you are referring would be hard. Unless the attacks were a diversion for something else.

They have a bunch of different units around the country that are armed with firearms.

    Like the CNC.

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Civil_Nuclear_Constabulary

Other armed police units are patrolling sensitive areas like airports, train stations, embassies etc ...

You can easilly find if they carry firearms by looking at their cars.
Armed units have special markings that regular police cars don't have.
Very convenient for the bad guys to know if the unit responding is armed or not ... not sure who had that brilliant idea.
Maybe it's not well known among the general public.

A yellow dot on the corner of the windshield and back windows means the officers inside the vehicle are armed with firearms.
You see lots of those in London.

You know all attempts to stop this has not worked should we look at history?

When was the last attempt to establish a Caliphate in Europe?

How was that attempt stopped ?
