So, I'm one of those lucky kids that has four parents.
My birth mom, born on a sharecroppers farm in Cotton Plant, Miss
My Smom of 58 years born in a coal mines company housing in Page, WV.

We all have parents that grew up then.
I explained the point to Foz. Guess I'll do it here. The point was, I know we were poor growing up. But, my dad was poorer yet. His dad even poorer. Neither of us felt in despair about it. It's just what we knew. Wealth is relative. Some people in the poorest nations on earth would think your sharecropper parents had it good. Some people think the commie union ho boss is poor with that meek ass salary. It wouldn't be meek to me. But some make orders of magnitude more.

ETA: I used to live <30 miles from Cotton Plant, MS. I think I remember you posting something about that before.

Your reading skills need a little work. You didn't read about the disassociation. I fully admit that everyone who voted for the elected leader is mentally retarded and I in no way support or his administration. Now lets see if the UAW members will disassociate from the UAW and prove they are not socialist/communist/democrat.
I don't have to prove **** to you. I'm not in your tribe, I don't seek your approval.

    Grow up.

Seems your the one who needs better reading skills, many times in this thread has it been posted that most who work Union employment are not liberal democrats.
Those that actually work or worked a Union career, would actually know the other members they worked with and their beliefs.

51% of union members say they're Democrats. 23% of union members say they're Republicans. I suppose "liberal" gives you some wiggle room. You can be a Democrat and not liberal. Lots of people vote against their best interest.

You can know the people you worked with, but you can't know everyone. Assuming your experience is broadly representative of everyone is not an accurate way to look at it.

    "record sales" Here's the facts:

Ford: Down 7 years running. More than 700k less than 2013
GM: Down 7 years running 2.1M down from 2005
Stellantis: down 13% from last year alone

Honda and Toyota are both down this year but in the same 7 year span they have had several up years as well. The big surprise is there is a manufacturer that looks to break sales records this year, and that's Hyundai/Kia. They were up 10% last year and almost 11% to date this year. They're on track to sell 1.5M cars in the US this year which would break their previous record of 1.47M. "record sales"
@Rookie Are these numbers not accurate? I'm not seeing record sales from any of the big 3.

I was taught to believe what I see in person, not what someone wrote in a book told me on the street, posts on the internet or whats on the evening news.

I said, "I think" which typically means "I'm not sure". I don't pay much attention to sales, because, frankly, I don't care. All I go by is our townhall meetings where the plant manager brags about how well the company is doing.

    Is this post not accurate?
You post something that seemed factually inaccurate, I found something saying otherwise. I am asking if they are correct because I've been accused of that before. Are they correct? Simple yes or no will suffice. Trying to play your ******** game will not.

I don't know is an acceptable answer. My information may be wrong is an acceptable answer. Doesn't have to be yes or no.

Otherwise you are setting up your own game.

You evidence supports your conclusion though.
