This is a bad one. No defense against something like this, especially when your concentration is on doing the best you can at your job.

I've seen some of the "hair on fire" comments over at a couple of liberal forums. Disgusting. Why can't we just blame the homicidal maniac rather than his selected method? I'm sure without a firearm, he'd have figured out a way to exact his revenge, and more people might have died.

    No sympathy.

I do not participate in every thread on Ingo.

I am out there. I try and avoid Mod. in the threads I am involved with. Not always but I try.

Que made it sound like some kind of rule? It must not be or it never stopped VUPDblue from jumping into the LEO threads but it's cool that Que tries to keep that separation.

Now, if this had been some guy on the South Side of Chicago and shot two innocent folks, and it wasn't on camera, how much press would the MSM and WH give it? Especially if the shooter and victims were all black?

The titillation factor in these incidents is nauseating.

The shooter died @ 1:30 PM in the hospital from his self-inflicted gunshot.

I don't feel that he suffered nearly enough for his actions.

Is it wrong that I hope the last thing he saw was cute little blonde nurse, who looks similar to his reporter victim, bringing a pillow down towards his face?:dunno:

As hard as the video is to watch, it needs to be shown in every tactical class everywhere. It should start off the day 1 first session.

    IMHO.

Gonna have to agree here. Dunno if it would have saved any lives, but even during an interview, how do all parties not notice someone who's moved into nearly point blank range. That vid was tough to watch, because he was so calm about it, raising the weapon, lowering it, moving a little closer...

    sickening.
