Honest question. Are you implying some are still being held in custody today? Or just that they haven’t had trials yet and are at home waiting? (Presumably with gps monitors)Political prisoners in America. Two plus years on and some of these people haven't even had a trial yet.
I was referring to those still actually in jail. But anyone held in any type of detention, home or otherwise, two plus years later, I would consider a political prisoner at this point. Another oddity, there are still 300-ish wanted by the FBI in connection to the proclaimed insurrection.Honest question. Are you implying some are still being held in custody today? If so, who is still behind bars today?
This is unacceptable, and a clear case of different legal systems based on class. We get trespassers in our homes and they hit the revolving door and back on the street. We trespass in "their" house, and we get locked away like GITMO.I was referring to those still actually in jail. The Cult of the January 6 Martyrs
At this year’s CPAC, the unifying myth of the Big Lie—and a funhouse-mirror version of the Capitol riot—has fully taken hold.newrepublic.com
From attached article:
According to the George Washington Program on Extremism, the FBI has arrested 940 people in connection to January 6. Of those, 43 were convicted, 481 pleaded guilty, and 382 are still waiting for trial. Most of the people waiting are out on bail. Some, however, are waiting within a prison cell; some for more than two years. The D.C. prison holds approximately 40 such prisoners. There may be more elsewhere; the government offers no clear answers.
Not more than ALL OF THEM...How many of those now in prison for walking into the people's house were denied potentially exculpatory evidence by the government hiding the video evidence?

Democrats have already declared it fake news.
Eh. It's the most documented event in history, I don't think there will be anything genuinely new.
That’s my thinking as well. Why not just make all the video available to everyone? Why give it to a right-wing news site? We now have the left wing narrative. And the right wing narrative.I will state up front that I really haven't paid much attention to any of the Jan. 6th coverage. I have tended to view it as a protest that got out of hand, but obviously not some sort of planned insurrection as the media has portrayed it.
That said, I remain ignorant of the extent to which the criminal issue was passing from the areas normally open to the public versus the area normally off-limits?
I just took a tour of the Capital last fall. I recognize most of the areas visible in the Tucker Carlson video as areas where I went during my tour. The large area where the people are walking between the ropes is the dome. At one point I was in the hallway just outside the Speaker's office, etc. I guess what I am getting at is how do we know whether this is any more accurate than the version the regular media shows us? I don't really trust any of the media, from either side.
The police leading the shaman guy around trying to open doors for him is really odd though for an insurrection.
