I'm trying with the Smith and Wesson .22A this year with a red dot. It does it's part at the range when the nut behind the trigger does his. I used to have a ruger mark 2 with an 8" bull barrel. I miss that bad boy. Been on the lookout for another.

I just got a VQ hammer and sear for the Ruger 10/22 as well as a bushnell 4x fixed power to try this year. I know for sure I'll bee tripping it up to Willow Slough when I get back to school. I may try around home, anybody have good luck at Pigeon River or Tri-County? THen come January I've got a trip planned with a group of guys from Marion to go south and do some Rabbit and squirrel hunting over dogs. I have to admit once you've hunted over dogs, it kinda spoils you.:D

I'll be using my H&R .22 or .17HMR to do the little tree rats in. I like to hunt around miami county and around the mississinewa reservoir. I also will use my .32 caliber squirrel rifle by CVA and sometimes one of my .22 caliber ruger revolvers or semi autos. I just wish it would be cooler outside while hunting squirrels during the first part of the season... Oh well, short sleeve and insect repellent....

Grandson will be using his scoped Henry (CCI 22 short hollowpoints), I might carry a .410 single. He shot 4 with 4 shots last year without moving. He CAN'T wait to try 5 for 5 this year.

Can't wait!! Usually hunt with a 77/22 or my Single Six. Just finished building a 10/22 with a Green Mt. fluted sporter barrel and a Volquatsen trigger, probablly will take it out and try it on squirrels.
