I spend a fair amount corn to keep my visitors happy, but the local feed store loves me. It's cheaper than smoking cigarettes though so I consider it a healthy hobby.

I am finally home and perusing the cards that I pulled from the cameras this morning. I'll see what I can find to share. :):

Having the house in the middle of the woods helps too.

That stag party looks pretty nice! I think those are the same bandits that were all hanging out in a tree in my back yard one night. I laughed when I saw all of the glowing eyeballs all over the tree on the card. It looked like aliens had invaded.

He does look like he is missing a leg! He is a big bodied buck so if he is missing one, it sure hasn't affected his ability to survive! Nice looking buck.

We've got between 7 and 9 bucks running around here, but only 3 or 4 does. Could get sporty come this fall. Those coons are back in the orchard, IIRC earlier that day I'd thrown a bunch of pears and apples that were in the yard back in front of the camera. Real common to see multiple sets of eyes shining out from the pears. Don't think I've seen any in the apple trees, tho.

Its an illusion...his leg is behind the tree.

My wife liked this picture the best of the burst; "You can see his rack better". ;)

He does have nice rack! LOL!

I'm glad he has his leg. I know they can survive and do well even with one missing, but I hate to see that. I have a thread on here about our three legged deer named Gimpy somewhere.
