    1) To make a statement about my feelings about the Second Amendment/I LOVE GUNS!

    2) To protect family/friends/others

    3) Shooting is one of the sports that this "old woman" can actively participate in.

Plus: I am an IL resident and guns just totally "irk" Gov.Blago, Mayor Daily, Obama, and all their "Socialist Republik" buddies!
I wish I could afford to buy all the ones that they hate the most! ;^ P

    2. Fun Fun Fun. Nothing relaxes me like the smell of gunpowder.
    3. To exercise my rights and to teach my children about thiers.

Actually, I plan to. Next month, after my son replaces the engine in my truck, I will be staying with my daughter (in Crawfordsville) for a week while I "job search". If I get one, I'll be staying with her and her family until I can get a place of my own.

I SO want to live in a FREE STATE! (If possible, in the country) :patriot: :)

Number 1 is-The Second Amendment gives me the right to keep and bear arms.

Number 2 is, because the Secondment Amendment guarantees me the right, I like to be a jerk and exercise that right.

Number 3 is, even when big, scary men on gun sites dislike you because you write things they don`t like-even if they THINK you disrespcted their wifey, which you didn`t, they can`t get the drop on you.

    1. To give me something to keep me occupied at the range.

    2. Because I enjoy putting small holes in the throats of zombie targets.

    3. To protect myself, my family, my friends, my pets, and others (which includes protecting small, wimpy men on gun sites who "unintentionally" disrespect the wives of big, scary men on gun sites).

    Where's the bacon?
    1) I prefer self reliance to cowering in a corner, wetting myself while waiting for others to protect my family and me.
    2) Sarah Brady and her ilk. No, I'm not making a threat against anyone by writing this-I'm just responding to the threat they've already made against me.
    3) "Those who beat their swords into plowshares will plow for those who did not." I'm not much of a farmer.

Incidentally, Hunter480, the Second Amendment doesn't "give" you anything. Also, it's not being a "jerk" to exercise those rights-are churchgoers jerks just for attending the religious service of their choice? I'm not really considering that your verbs could have been reversed and still maintained the same meaning as well: "...I like to exercise that right and to be a jerk."

Also, flagtag, good luck. More patriots are always welcome! :patriot:

    Blessings,
    B
