Been checking for updates online that last couple days and nothing. Thanks for the post.

Just from that I have a feeling it might be the end of his career. Head injuries are no Bueno. And at his age, it just might be time to call it. He'll he's the goat of drag racing, at least in my humble opinion

Looks like he broke his sternum and had a wrist injury as well according to this article.

I'm surprised no burn injuries. Them firesuits definitely work. Figure he had to be sprayed with oil and nitro when the engine exploded.

I wouldn't be surprised if it were John's idea. He loves to engage his fans and probably wants his fans to see first hand that he's doing better.
But, I can also understand what you're saying too.
