Oh look. A GoFundMe opposed in principle to RFRA.

Instead of issuing threats or violence against the owners, the simple answer is boycotting. The owners ended up "temporarily" shutting down their shop after numerous complaints from Yelp, Facebook, and Twitter, (some one even bought the domain name to insult them), but religious bigots aren't happy with all these people voicing their opinions on why the store should change their mind. They recently created a GoFundMe to raise funds for Memories Pizza for... The losses of the boycott? I'm not really sure. They're aiming for $25,000. As of now they're at about $17,000.

$410 in one day... Zounds! THAT'S real grass roots for you!!!

WOW! That really IS a huge response from progressives. As a group Liberals typically donate 1% - 2% to helping others.

Maybe Pence is wishing he had dug in his heels.

What gets me is 1.9 K shares on that page, but only $410 in donations. The Memories GoFundMe has about 40 K shares.

The comments on the IYG GFM are hilarious, as if they think $410 is really a lot of money (I guess it is when you can't lift it from other people's pockets through taxes.)

I honestly don't think so. He would've been better off if he had taken a similar path as the Arkansas governor.

He didn't handle the passage/signing well at all, and he should have foreseen the consequences, and he could have dealt with the fallout far better.

But to buckle under shows his star has risen all it's going to...

OH LOOK, the IYG GoFundMe is up to 2000 FB shares and $410 dollars. They're aiming for $25,000. Will they make it???

"No shoes, no shirt, no service." This law only reaffirms this concept. Freedom of religion and of speech are foundational rights in this country... at least for now. Socialism on the other hand wants to force people to do things... like get healthcare that costs twice as much as it used to, for half the quality. All this hype about the new law will blow over eventually. Heck, There were 20 or so states who already have this type of law in place.
