And there are plenty in civilian life that don't meet the picture on the left.

I have no idea why that is suppose to apply to capitalism v. socialism, but seeing that really makes me want to switch to socialism. Besides, with socialism WE eat YOUR dog!

Don't get me started on this. My wife works in this type of program, and you have NO IDEA of the amount of waste involved. You may think you do, but you don't. Waste that is REQUIRED by the program. Perfectly good food that we paid for MUST be thrown away.

One of the worst parts about it is when the school corporation crows about "free" breakfast and "free" lunch for the kids in their monthly newsletter. It's aneurysm-inducing!

My wife mentioned that since the kids were getting "free" breakfast and lunch and dinner backpacks, then the parents' food stamps/assistance was being cut to reflect that, right? She was told that discussion of such topics was not permitted.
