That is spot on. Internet arguments are a waste of time. Win or lose your opponent will strut around and claim victory regardless of the true outcome.

When someone tries to bait me into an internet argument:

This has to be the silliest thing I have heard in my life........

    Irrelevant.

We need to make salary defined by a fixed committee and based on perceived social value.

    Down with capitalism!

100% correct. If we mandate teachers make a whole heck of a lot and the currently rich are cut down to size, I see absolutely no problems with having the budget to pay those teachers' salaries.

A better question is which one of those over paid, panty waisted 'warriors' is going to cure cancer or invent a warp drive when they grow up?

So. Who decides who gets paid what?

Complaints without offering up a solution....

If teachers are upset about their salary, seems like the time to think about that was some point before you entered a profession where you pretty much knew what you were going to make.

that has always frustrated me. I had several friends in college who were going for teaching degrees.... who always complained about teacher salaries. Universities crank out a bazillion teachers and then teachers wonder why wages aren't sky high... some basic supply/demand stuff there. If universities could crank out a bazillion head coaches with winning records, then salaries wouldn't be very high for them, either.
