Yeah it is. All over freaking visitation, not even custody. I really thought he was a good guy at first. Now? Screw him.
Well, he fathered them out of wedlock as I understand it yes.
And has not supported or been a part of their lives since. As I understand it.

Where in this do you perceive him being a good guy. JMHO of course my friend but those actions are not from a good guy.
I had a boy blamed on me way back in another life. I asked for a blood test (1972) and the Kangaroo court in Peru Indiana refused and hung him on me. I always had my doubts but I never missed a support payment birthday Christmas etc. We had him down here with us for a while when his :poop: head mother ran off. He went home after a while and we were never allowed to see him again.

About 6 years ago he looked us up. He is in the navy and seemed to be on a good track. By his suggestion we got a blood test as he has trouble believing his mother. Turns out I am not his dad. It made us both a bit sad, but we are still in contact with him around his "B" day and the holidays.

Did the douche bag do any of that with those boys...???

Just putting some reality into the mix. Good guys stand by their kids no matter where they are.

No arguments from me CM. By "good guy" I just meant that he seemed willing to get involved in the boys' lives at first. Then it morphed into him being willing to take custody and responsibility for his kids (still good). Where it went sideways was when he started accusing Susan and I of screwing them up in the 3 1/2 months that we had them, and their mom who had them the balance of the time out in California (which we had nothing to do with). Everything was civil until he took them shortly after New Year's Day. Then a switch got flipped.

Susan thinks he got their mom's SS check and saw the money and started seeing them as his little cash cows.

Dump-truck Driver Arrested for OWI, Drug and Weapons Charges

Harrison County - Wednesday, February 9, 2022: A Commercial Driver from Corydon was arrested Wednesday afternoon for Operating While Intoxicated as well as drug and weapons charges.

Around Noon on Wednesday, Trooper Nathan Newton observed a commercial dump-truck drive off the right side of SR 135 as they were traveling south toward Fairview Church Road. After turning west onto Fairview Church Road, the truck dove left of center several times, including on hill crests and around curves. Trooper Newton activated his emergency lights and sirens, but the truck did not immediately stop. The driver, identified as Steven Scott Springer Jr., 58, Corydon, eventually stopped on Fairbanks Road, but not before crossing over Heidelburg Road.

Trooper Newton conducted a traffic stop along with a commercial vehicle inspection. During the inspection, he observed indicators of possible impaired driving and also performed standard field sobriety tests. Further investigation also uncovered drugs and drug paraphernalia as well as two handguns.

As a result of the investigation, Steven Springer Jr. was arrested on the following charges:

    1. Possession of Methamphetamine - Level 5 Felony
    2. Possession of a Handgun Without a License - A Misdemeanor
    3. Operating While Intoxicated, Endangerment - A Misdemeanor
    4. Operating While Intoxicated with Controlled Substance - C-Misdemeanor
    5. Operating While Intoxicated- C Misdemeanor
    6. Possession of Paraphernalia - C Misdemeanor
Officers transported Steven Springer to the Harrison County Jail without further incident.
