Now the kids have warmed up to him. I like the guy. Sounds like he's got a lot on the ball now too. He's starting a small trucking/delivery service. He doesn't want to drive anymore, but will be hiring drivers and handling dispatch.
I guess I ought get my cornbread going soon. Almost lunch time.
I am lurking and doing some searching for travel info. Messaged the BIL's wife to let her know we are coming and have been chatting with one of his daughters. Checked the weather in the mountain passes...told hubby he better throw a shovel in the truck too. LOL 30 inches of snow in the one pass in Montana...ugh.

30" sounds like a lot, but I'm pretty sure that's a small amount for them. I would think road crews wouldn't have any problem keeping that cleared up. Is that suburban 4wd?

I should go to Ace and fill my propane tank. The one that's hooked up has got to be about out. Maybe I'll wait until tomorrow.
Mmm... good chili. Cornbread kinda iffy. I think it was old. Nothing wrong with it but it didn't rise as much as usual.

slept in till 7:30 felt good. Dog has been walked and the bedroom repaint is winding down, still need to wash the mini-blinds and recover a seating area but that is about it. The pumpkin pecan cheesecake bars are in the oven, pork chops marinating, and the sweet potatoes scrubbed and poked.
