    Hubby saw cider a week or two ago for $8 a gallon and freaked. We used to sell it for $4 when we made our own. That was the good stuff.

    I might have to try this too now that I've got a crockpot full of chili. That might be breakfast tomorrow. I'm thinking maybe a little sour cream on the side might be good too.
    A little sour cream would rock this dish, unfortunately I had none..

    I did have some blackened wheat toast and apple butter though.

    Mornin' mom! I can remember going to his orchard when I was a little kid. They've been there since 1925. They used to sell it in glass jugs and we'd take them back to be refilled. They had to stop doing that because of health regulations I guess.

    This is the orchard. One of the owners holds the Guinness World's Record for fastest apple picker in the world.

    "Adrian Orchards is home to the Guinness World Record holder for the fastest apple picker?.... It’s true! George J. Adrian picked 365 ½ bushels (15,351.5 lbs) of apples in 8 hours on Sept. 23, 1980. His record still stands today."
