I just went out and built some heat in the vehicles. Battery's are a couple of years old. Nice to put them to bed with a full charge.
Just dropped an Interstate in my work van yesterday. Other one was 6 yrs old, time for a change.

    Hello folks, cold SOB.

    Hello folks, cold SOB.

The battery in my truck is the one I bought for the 64 Impala 2 years ago. It is a serious deep cycle but still....cold is cold and it is cold.

Did I mention it is cold.

The battery in the magic bus was in it when we bought it 2 years ago so no real idea about it.

They should be stamped. The 1 replaced had a sticker on it that said 1/11. Figured it was time. Nothing worse then hitting the key, and nothing happens.

Not many people put lead in their batterys anymore.

It's a "Top of the Line" NAPA Legend 84 month battery. I've been severely disappointed by them. Had 2 in my Jeep, 2 in my T-bird, 2 in my truck and 2 or 3 in my wife's Impala. Most I've got out of one is about 4 years, many were 3 or under.
