I remember seeing that before. That's one ammo eating SOB right there, BIL has a Mossberg ????.

The Mossberg version is a nice weapon. Its a lot lighter than mine because the Ruger is mostly all metal. Somehow, the extra weight just feels better to me. Its not like the Ruger is heavy. Its more like the Mossberg feels artificially light because it is mostly plastic.

I noticed that shooting his. It's damn near all plastic. He got a steal on it though. He's lucky that way, or, knows a lot of people who need $$.

I actually prefer the weight of the Ruger even though the Mossberg shoots very well. The practice with the Ruger would apply much more to the AR that it is obviously emulating. Maybe not so much with the mechanical operation of the weapon, but definitely with the handling and aiming of it.

I agree, going from one to the other messes up my aim point.

Currently, other than 22's, I have no gun of the same caliber. I find that odd personally, and half of them are odd ball.

I own everything from .22 all the way up to 7.62x.54. Most calibers in between are represented, many of them with only one weapon. I don't find that odd at all.

Just got done with the days scheduled events. Oil changes/differential fluid changes/tire rotation on my 3 rigs. Ugh, I am tired. 2 4WD's (2 diff's each) and my Van.
