Most of the winter I was still a patrol officer. Outdoor patrols in the snow and ice followed by hours in a frozen gate house.

I spent most of the winters outdoors as well. It does suck especially this last one.

I know! I sleepily walked out the door to head to work with my umbrella in my hand. It was quite confusing.

Totally sanded down my Remington 788 in .22-250.
Original owner refinished the stock in some kind of Blond finish and it sucked.
Sanded on it for 2 hrs. and got it prepped.
Provincial 211 stain and it looks sweet.
Letting it dry. Barrel is at AllenM's getting refinished.
