Darnet, I missed one! .30 Carbine For the M1.

Uh-hu.......I have a .38 I just remembered but no a stupid amount of ammo.

I have done the same thing. Sold off 2 .308 bolt guns and all the ammo thinking .223/5.56 was good enough. Then run across a sweet deal on an M1-A.........

Funny how that happens. My dad had a Rem 700 (.308) sniper rifle. I like the .30-06 better tho. A friend of mine (USMC sniper) was hounding me to sell him the rifle. We did a trade... his Rem 1187 (modified by gunsmith) and $400 for my Rem 700. I felt it was a fair deal. I made sur to keep the .30-06 tho.

I have 330-06 and .308
Both are good at what they do. I have an AR-10 so the .308 is for it.
I recently got a Mossburg bolt gun in 30-06. It was part of a multi-gun trade and I was going to sell it. For a mossburg it is a fairly nice gun. Fluted barrel, decent trigger and a smooth bolt. Shot it and was drilling at 200 with it. I kept it. Bought a butt load of ammo.

This car shopping is difficult. I have no idea what I want! He mentioned something about the Hooley car auction coming up in April but you never know what will come through there!
