Very traditional...Pan heads and shovels for hard tails.....period. EVO's just do not look right IMO

I was rolling a 1950 Hard tail wide glide at 21. Jockey shifted and very "Easy Rider" with out all the chrome.
My 1st "X" took all of my pics so life before 28 is only a memory.

What is an EVO??

It is the engine design that replaced the Shovel head Harley engine in 1984.
Pre 50's was the knuckle head, 50's was the pan head and 060's was the shovel head.

I never made the transition to the block head. Twin cam motors will fly if you love on them but just not me I guess.

This had a '72 FLH motor and trans. Everything else was parts I had left over from other bikes. Except for the hand grenades of course!

I had a '48 knuck that had a suicide shift. Only had for a short time. It would throw my ass over the handlebars when I would kickstart it!!

If I tried to ride a hard tail now my spine would disintegrate.
In the shop pic I posted there is a hard tail in progress against the bench behind the Dyna Glide. I built up a 107 with Branch heads, big compression, nitrous and related parts. It was a missile.
It hurt me to ride it so I sold it. Kid still has it.
