So I call securitas today, I have an orientation on Monday...it's a 3 or 4 day job, third shift. Pay is ok, but at least it will bring some money in until I can supplement it with a 2nd job.

Good news! Is it just a temp position or a part time job but long term? Getting your foot in the door is a good thing.

The big one on the lake in Chicago. I got to feed the whales on my last day there. My job was an office position but I loved going out in the galleries and in the oceanarium and visiting the whales and such.

I've been there once, had an absolute blast! I got a feeling we might have met before....

Not sure....it's part time only pulling in 32 hours a week or so, so hopefully a long term gig until I can get my foot in the door towards a electrician journeyman.

Had a great day. Got a snow day from work and spent the afternoon at the range shooting snubbies. Love my new Smith 10-5. (Ok, not new since it's almost as old as I am, but it's new to me.)

Staying warm is good.
