I measured 8" on the picnic table.

We got lucky. We got about 3" of snow before the Ice & sleet hit. That snow kept the ice from sticking to trees & powerlines.

I guess it's pretty ugly about 30 miles south, down by Madison & Northern KY. They just got 1/2" of Freezing rain.

I just tried to get out again. I need to rotate my tires. This winter has taken its toll on my tread.

I got plowed in at work. Took a lot of clutch rocking to break through.

Yeah, I think my van just really sucks in the snow.

My wife has an old Dodge minivan, that thing sucks on snow with regular tires. We have a set of snow tires & rims we use in the winter, made a huge difference.

I just had to put new tires on my car a few months ago. I really don't want the expense of it for the van.

We stepped up and put new shoes on all 3 vehicles late last year. Ugh that hurt.

pulled my curtains open and my cardinal was sitting on the porch rail under the bird feeder. that explains why the cat was staring out the window making funny noises.

Yeah, the Airport thing is going to get old, but it is nice to not have to drive so much anymore.

I paid $270 for 4 Pirelli tires with 62000 mile rating and all A ratings in 2001. It was about $600 for comparable tires last year.

WE put tires/brakes and other repairs on all the rigs. I do not want to even consider this again for at least 4 years.

We have averaged 45K to 50K on a set of tires. I can not complain.
