I thought it looked like Cherry, but knew that was too simple. Had to be something else.

they look like rosewood comparing with other grips. Springfield doesn't list what type of wood.

SAM & the Wife are stuffed. Made pasta tonight and ate too much.
Usually make our own sauce, but was lazy tonight and used Newmans' Own. That stuff isn't bad for bottled sauce.

Rosewood is real church, but the grips look an awful lot like my walnut rifle stock

i think ink with our refund I'm going to sell my pistol and pick up an M&P .45 in dark earth brown... It's so sexy!

Could be walnut. its hard to tell on a photo taken from the companies web site.

By "our" I assume you aren't referring to my refund.
