    That's what I thought. Cant remember the difference between the 70 and 80. Thank you for re-affirming my thought!

    80 series has more involved trigger safety mechanism. Firing pin safety. It puts more involvement in the process and requires a bit more pressure on the trigger.
    The newer Colts are just not that well made anymore. For the price you get so much more in an RO or a loaded.

    I sold all my Colts.

    Stainless is ubber cool. It wears very well. Parkerized is cool as well but it will show wear after a while.
    I have a seriously loved on loaded in parkerized finish. It is showing EDC wear.

    Gotta agree, go with the stainless if you can find one.

    Love me some stainless revolvers, they look as good now as when they were built.

    I need to hit the stores and see how they feel. My friend has a Colt (forgot which model) and it felt good in the hand and even gooder to shoot ;)
