I had to go out into the snow in my pj's and slippers to get our Pomeranian. She went out to potty, and when her feet started getting cold, she just stopped and sat down.

My daughter had me dog sit her little dog last night. It did the same thing. Had to go save its life every time he had to pee!

You should just carry it out, hold it up and lift it's leg for it. No need for doggy to get wet and cold.

I've got a pee pad on the floor in the house, and two of the three females will use it. But the Pom still doesn't get it after four years, and the male would sooner pee on the back door.
