The first thing I learned is that they used OSHA requirements as a scare tactic to sell their services. The other thing is our safety resources people have a lot of work to do to make sure everyone is in compliance with the new regs. .

I do have to make sure my shop is in compliance. That starts tomorrow and I know the guys aren't going to like it. We are going to go over every chemical we have, make sure we are up to date and have all the SDS's and everything is labeled properly

I am home from my meeting and catching up on the reading from today. Busy day but a good one. Got the neighbor's pellet stove cleaned good this morning and got all filthy doing it. She laughed at me with the soot all over me. I'm glad she is too old to take pictures with a phone.

The container for the SDS forms I had to carry in my service truck was so full. It was overwhelming. They expected me to know what each form was for and how it pertained to the parts/pieces/chemicals I had on the truck. I was on a Lilly site doing a chiller start up and the OSHA idiot pulled me out to check my rig. It was in order but he was on a mad hunt to write up something and I had become the target. He could find no issues with the rig but took great pride in belittling me when I could not tell him chapter and verse about the SDS forms. I just don't care was not an acceptable answer. Those guy's suck.
