    It would be convincing...took you 30 years to get there, right?


    I need to get into a field that I can enjoy working. At the time I was fired from toyota, I was only making $35k a year and that was after spending 2.5 years working my ass off.

    There's guys who work alot of overtime out here that makes closer to around $150,000. I don't work any overtime cause my wife works also. They start ya off at about $50,000 with health care.

    Im a security guard myself. The father is building an addition to a factory in lafayette. I need to get "heavy equipment certified" just to have the option to buy into the union, but meh.

    that's a better starting pay then after spending 5 years at toyota

    Operators union there is local 150. Does your dad own a construction company?
