I spent some time yesterday re-arranging the work schedule in case people couldn't make it in. Now I think maybe I jumped the gun.

Only maybe 5 to 6 inches up here. I'm not impressed , these people can't predict what's going to happen 5 minutes from now, but they swear in a couple hundred years global warming will kill off all of mankind!

Usually if they say its gonna snow, it doesn't. Some of the worst storms we've ever had are the ones that no one sees coming. I remember in 1967 and 1977 those were lake effect storms that no one predicted.

I remember lake effect snow. Part of why I am not panicked now. 8-13" is minor

It's coming down at a decent rate here, we've got maybe 2-3" on the ground, on top of the other snow. I'm hoping it will pick up and dump it on us
