Damn diets. Good mornning.Yesterday I fried the hash browns in the bacon grease, and then the eggs. Today, steel-cut oats.
Move slow Sam, don't rush headlong into anything today.I should start doing some laundry & cleaning, but just am not feeling it right now.

Ya know, I really don't want to go back. That's the trouble with time off.Good advice CT2. Back to work tomorrow, gotta ease into it.

Ammo shortage.Another thread reminded me, I didn't hear anyone shooting off rounds last night at Midnight. Years past I would always hear something.

I only get 5 days... Then in one more year I'll get 10, but that's it, I know my dad used to get like 30 days then more than that before the factory closed. Of course he worked 12 hour days for years, started on the presses and worked his way into upper management, he was there for more than 30 years. He started the day it opened and was one of the last to leave when it closed! That was really hard on him!I had a bunch of "use it or lose it" vacation days.
2014 feels an awful lot like 2013? I'm going to go get some 20 gauge shells for my nephew so he can shoot his new gun today, probably take the the Henry for my daughter to shoot , and the .40 for me I might even get the wife to shoot one... But I'm not gonna hold my breath waiting!Well....it is 2014 and now what.......
1st and then I will ease into the new year.....no hurries.
Bacon and fried eggs in a nicely seasoned iron skillet sounds like a deal to me. Now, where did I put my skillet.

I have more than a few gun related projects to get going. 2014 will not change much for me. The honey-do list never seems to get anyshorter even after I get several things done and crossed off. It has taken on a life of its own since retirement.....
BIL tasked me with reviving his childhood .22 squirrel rifle. Grand dad to dad to him. 1908 manf. date on it but no brand I can find. Should be a challenge.
