I dont know the difference between a mixer and a blender.

You know I still can't figure out what that black smudge on my kitchen wall is. And it will NOT come off. Nor will the stains on my kitchen counter. They've been there since we moved it. Seeing that picture just reminded me...

I think we call the blender a mixer (mixeur) in French, which is confusing.
No idea how you can the actual mixer.
