Tonight my crew at work consisted of me, a cook, and a driver....ONE driver. I was more understaffed tonight than I have been in months. So after my insane day I left work, went next door to the liquor store, stopped at the gas station, and came home. When I pulled into my driveway I wondered why crazy man's car wasn't in the driveway. It was not until then that I realized he was at work tonight and my children were NOT at home, but at the babysitter's house

Complete and total fail. I felt like more of a dumbass than I usually do. I did have a good laugh about it with the sitter once I actually got to her house though
