No kidding!!! I just noticed it tonight on the way home from work. When I got home I stuck my face down by where the windshield meets the hood. Really strong on the driver's side but I have no light right now to try and see what's going on

Yeah I ran out last night (lately the fuel gauge has decided to not work so I never know how much I have). I had a little bit of gas in a can in the trunk and of course it leaked all over me....

What kind of car we talking about here? You say the smell seemed to be coming from the drivers side, so I assume its american made?

yes there is a patch on the fuel return line. it use to leak about a thimble full a week so i put a patch on it
