I can't remember any with federal, but the Golden Bullets were from a 1400 rd bucket. I'll bet between me & the wife, we had a dozen duds in the approx 1000 rounds we fired for the Appleseed.

Also had my first squib load with a .22 out of the same bucket.

The only real reason I used federal most of the time is because it was one of the most commonly available in bulk.

Even a lot of the reloading supplies have gotten harder and much more expensive to get. I sure hope this mess starts improving soon. Ammo availability has never been this bad during modern times as far as I know.

INGO'er are good guys. I have bought some powder & brass I was running short of at prepanic prices, and I have sold some extra projectiles & primers to others at what I paid.

Luckily, when I had the squib load, it was in the final course. You have 5 minutes to put 10 rounds in the 400 yard targets. I was able to clear the squib, add another bullet to the mag and still finish that course with time left.

    :faint:

a fully loaded Gazebo runs around $12000. I mentioned I could buy some limited amounts of ammo for that kind of money.
:bat: wife didn't have much to say.
