The state of Indiana now requires all teachers to undergo suicide prevention training. How ridiculous.

I had to pay $30 for the training. I swear that they think of worthless things to waste money on a daily basis.

Yeah, I'm surprised some Consultants hadn't forced through $300 training. It's pretty stupid, but I'm surprised it isn't higher priced.

Although, it's probably a good idea. The students might need that training after they learn who much national debt they are on the hook for!!!

I wouldn't be le least bit surprised if a suicide group that profits from the training lobbied for it. I'm sure the red cross did the same thing when defibrillator training was mandated.

Only if a training academy spent several $100K lobbying the right people and was able to force all training through it's program.

Think about it. How many teachers are in Indiana?? 100K??? 100K x $30 is a serious payday for some politically connected company.

Yep. Someone tried to shoot him with a high power rifle through his kitchen window while he was eating dinner with his family. The bullet grazed his head. The culprit was never found.
