I'd recommend adjustable sights, like tech sights or even a low power scope, and a USGI sling.

I can help you with tht Twitty.
You will need to have a set of quick disconnect swivels, a usgi sling in either nylon or cotton. You can get a nice one and about the cheapest around at the Appleseed store. Please note that these are 1.25" slings and need 1.25" swivels.
The basics of eye and ear protection, a shooting mat of some sort. If you don't have a mat, carpet remnant or yoga mat will work. Pen and paper for taking notes, and most importantly a learning attitude. Leave any macho and male ego at home. You guys have nothing to prove...everyone is there to learn.
