I found tons of little black spots all over my car. I think they might have been from camping last week. There were hundreds of them and they were a real PITA to remove. They were small ranging in size from 1 to 3 mm in diameter and they were rock hard. They were black on the outside but if I chipped one open they appeared to be brownish on the inside. I tried bug and tar remover to no avail even letting it soak for a while. The only thing I found that I had that seemed to remove them was lighter fluid. I only used it in very small amounts and immediately washed it off so as to not damage the paint. I got most of them off but it took forever and I know there's still some left. Does this sound familiar to anybody? I still have no idea what these spots are.
