Adding more crap on that AR young man?
Got that one, my Google fu was way off.Good reviews.
Nope, just getting a better charging handle. Actually I don't have much crap on the AR. Just a sling and troy BUIS.
You need a light and a bayonet.
I am thinking about this as my light setup
streamlight trl1 on moe scout mount
That's more like a pistol light, not sure how good it is for long range rifle shooting.
suggestions for light then? under 300?
Im not saying it's a bad light, you would just have to see how much throw it has depending on how far you want to shoot with your gun.
It's probably designed for handgun range so maybe about 25 yards or so.
So maybe something like this would be better?
SureFire G2 Nitrolon and LT707-1 QD Mount with 1.040 Rings | LaRue Tactical
That's a 120 lumens light, the TLR1 is 160 lumens so it's even less powerful.
oops didnt look
I guess it depends what you want to do with the gun I guess.
Both those lights are probably good enough to ID a target outside at 25 yards and plenty bright to use inside a house.
It also depends on how much throw they have and not just the lumen outputs.
It's not just the light you use to see a target at 100 yards, but lights that can do that are really big and heavy.
Im not an expert on lights nor im I an expert on rifles though.
oops didnt look
SureFire G2X Pro and LT707-1 In-Line QD Mount with 1.040 Rings | LaRue Tactical
a bit more expensive but its 200 lumens
Target ident out to 50 yards would be great. But I guess I can ask for 25 at best.
