Hahahaha, I don't go in until 8am tomorrow! I got moved off midnights tonight so I get to work 8-4 then come back at midnight for midnight till 8. That's gonna be fun!

I hate doing shifts like that. Working midnights and days is terrible. Any other combination is a little better.

Yeah, afternoons to mids isn't that bad cuz it slows down a little later in the shift and days to afternoons is just long, but after workin mids you just wanna go home! It seams like after dealing with all of the serious stuff at that happens at 0dark30 you have less patience for the more trivial daytime calls. It sucks because the people you tend to deal with during the dayshift are the good law abiding people that deserve the patience!

I have been on midnights for almost 10 years at 3 different jobs! I don't know any other shift. At this last job, I had a chance to actually get off of them and go to dayshift but, my wife works retail. So, I have to work mids so I can take care of the kids while she is at work.... It sucks but, I do like her money!
