Na, the last rough stuff was around 11:00 and it had died down quite a bit by the time it made it over by me.

If I'm ever lucky enough to make it to retirement, I'm gonna have to make some kinda schedule for myself. I've been off work this week. This business of letting myself stay up til 2 or 3 and trying to function the next day just sucks!

The problem with retirement is you don't know when to stop and take a break!!

well apparently the storm was worse than I thought. we didn't have anything of note where we live but it was bad enough that maybe 2 miles down the road the walmart is closed.

My teenage daughter actually got up, made breakfast (she left me a plate in the oven), got herself ready and left before I even knew what was going on. That's never happened before and I know she's gonna try to bring it up whenever I give her a hard time about sleeping late from now on. After all, she is a young woman now and we all know they never forget when it suits them.
