They don't have room. I had to get a different place and the owner didn't sound happy to have that many people coming in taking up his tables. I had to assure him we were going to spend money there and not just sit around

It does but it doesn't. I've never planned an event THIS big. I thought almost 2 weeks notice was enough. Obviously not. So NEXT time, more notice and we'll have Shallo's

I have little love for restaurant mgrs. Servers get a lot of leeway with me, because they work hard and depend on the guest to pay them, not the business. Mgrs usually don't do ****. There are of course exceptions.

In restaurants, totally agree. I was a server for over a year. I tip VERY well for good service cause I know what they're going through
