    My first handgun was .40...I'm not a fan for some reason.

    I don't mind the .40 at all, but I don't have any real attachment to it. There is a noticeable difference in recoil between a 2nd gen and a 4th gen G23. The gen 4 has much softer recoil. I went with the 9mm for cheaper ammo, higher capacity, and less recoil.:yesway:

    I like to keep it simple, so my only handgun calibers are .22lr(and mag), 9mm, .357 and .45. The only two I carry are 9mm and .45.

    Once I get the 19, the 23's probably won't get shot at all. The only reason they get shot now is because I shoot them. My dad wouldn't shoot at all(other than qualifications) if it wasn't for me.
