If I bother the ob staff then I can get out here. Then I have to bug the next nurses station so I can get to the elevator. To come back up. Same procedure. Stairs are locked and elevators won't work without a swipe card.

Stairs are locked? Call the fire marshall. Sounds like thats an violation of some code.

I'm sure if the alarm sounds they will unlock. It's just locked down for security at night. I can get to the ER but it's the above procedure. Can't leave any unit without help.
