    Hey Drako.

Any of you guys have any experience with Spike's ARs? I have a buddy who wants something simple that will go bang when he pulls the trigger for no more than $800.

    ST-15 M4 LE Carbine [STR5025-M4S] - $799.95 : Spikes Tactical

That really doesn't seem like too bad of a deal. I have read a lot of positive reviews about the quality of Spike's and a lot of negative reviews on the customer service.

IDK, I read that thread on the customer service. I think I'd rather hold a gun before I bought it at this point so :dunno:

Sure do, I figured you would work on them when you got to feeling better.

Here's my basic design. Like I said, pretty basic. I'm planning on using cheap 1/8 flat steel. If I really like it, I might make more out of a better material later. The pointed handle on both ends is intentional. I was thinking it could also be thrown like a knife and having multiple points to stick in a target would make it more versatile and fun.

If its unbalance too badly, I thought I could add a slot in the center of the handle with a sliding weight.

It looks like it'd hurt :dunno:
