    worked 61 hours this week already...decided to relax tonight and drink some beer...just made a thread and it took me forever to type it...i hope it makes sense...first time for buzzed posting:laugh:

    I replied. Part of the issue with auto loaders is that the manufacturer has to try to find the happy medium when it comes to cycling. My dad has a Benelli super black eagle chambered up to 3 1/2 that will not cycle any 2 3/4 lighter than number 4 shot, but it was built primarily for the 3 1/2 so it has a heavier recoil spring.

    They are nice. I've got an old Remington model 11 that has the strangest recoil. The barrel moves with the action which gives a lighter recoil but then it kinda bounces forward.
